Desire to win

Some times it feels very down when you keep loosing. The best part in this i find is that every time you loose your desire to win increases. You keep trying to feel what you would have felt if you were on the other side. This drives me on and on… I am still waiting for the victory.

Increments this year

Peanuts! That’s how I will describe my raise this year. Jokes apart it was somewhat satisfactory but after all human beings are human beings. The desire to get more keeps increasing day by day. God bless America!… Now what has America got to do with increments in India. Well when Uncle Sam does well so does Uncle India and so does Uncles in my company. Hahahahaha. Wohooooo Woooohooooo

Chocolate Ganache Pastry

To me this chocolate pastry is the best the world can offer to food lovers like me. Keeping my daily increasing weight in mind its is like a poison for me to consume one of them. Somehow I just cannot stop myself from going to a bakery shop and having one of this. The deep chocolate layer on top with chocolate ribbons just melts into your mouth. Then come the layer of creamy chocolate cake, its just yummy. I am sure most people would find it difficult to finish one by them but for me it’s the same but the sinful desire helps me to finish it. Just try it and let it melt in your mouth

Certificate

Finally I got a big smile on my face when I received this certificate from my company. We had a specialized training on a particular IT Module and I have managed to score good enough to get this certificate. Hahahahahah its like I have won a medal in the Olympics.

The Story of White and Pink balloons

I must tell this story to you people. Last Sunday (12 July 08) afternoon my wife and I were sitting on the window and chatting. The weather was bit cloudy and was accompanied with light showers from time to time. Last night there was a party at the terrace in the apartment in front of our house; the terrace was decorated with large pink and white balloons. As the decorations were being dismantled the sudden gust of wind blew away hundreds of balloons in to the air. It almost looked like as if it was the start of the Beijing Olympics. I ran out of my house and started catching some of the flying balloons. My wife joined me and we enjoyed being a small child for some time. A big bunch of balloon got stuck on the Veranda next to our house which had no direct access but had be climbed from my window. I was confident that i would be able to grab them. Little did I realize that I am not a child any more and all my flexibility is lost. Aaah I was stuck on a veranda, somehow my wife managed to pull be back in. It was a real fun; sometimes we need to be a child to enjoy the very small things in life.

I once had this in my dream that three OS fighting with each other in a video game. The next day I decided to make this into wallpaper. Raincoat

It was raining heavily while coming to office today in my Motorbike. I had my old trusted raincoat with me so there was a hint of confidence in me which made me battle the strong rains one to one. When I reached office I realized that my old trusted raincoat had several leakage spots and there was more water inside the raincoat than it was raining outside. I finally decided that it was time to buy a new raincoat. I take walk down to New Market during the lunch break and buy a Transparent Raincoat for Rupees 180. Hope it works well this monsoon.

Hancock - Review

Hmmm let me see, i really like Will Smith May be i don't like Mr. Hancock that much. If you are really bored this weekend and would like to relax with few seconds of laughter then this is the movie to watch. Its not a movie to keep in your personal DVD Collection but a one nights stand is the appropriate word. I would give it *** (Three stars out of Five)

Hancock

After a long time me and Smita (my wife) are planning to catch a movie at the theatre. We have chosen Hancock since Will Smith is both our favorite actor. Some reviews on the Internet and Television are calling it an average movie specially post interval its gets a bit slow. Let us check it out and I will have my own comments in my next blog. We are going to New Empire (New Market, Kolkata, India) @ 3.00 p.m. show.

Apple Crumble

I feel pity for those of you who haven’t had the wonderful opportunity to bite in to an Apple Crumble. If you are suffering from a bad day, had a fight, wanted to kill some one but couldn’t then i would recommend a slice of Apple Crumble neatly laid out with a bowl of Vanilla Ice Cream and some Blue Berry Sauce. Too much to eat

I have been eating like a buffalo for the past few days. The amount of weight that i managed to loose in the last few months was all compensated with the intake of last one week. Adding to this my colleagues are planning for a KFC feast today. God help me.

The Beatles Best

I remember since childhood i used to listen to the The Beatles on Tape. My dad used to play the tapes early in the morning and i would get from bed up listning to those beautiful hummings. The song which really caught my attention were "Here comes the Sun" a very meaningful song with the morning song. Anyways i managed to get the full (entire) collection of The Beatles yesterday, i kept playing them till late at night. It reminded me of my childhood. Thank you Beatles.

Train Ticket

Aaahh. Confusion again. I happen to buy a train ticket online. This was my mistake I booked it too late and waited it to come on time. This was my SIN. Fortunately it just arrived by courier and I can leave town and be back on Sunday Evening. Happy Holidays!!!

Drilling all the way

My two Chinese made drill were of no use. The first one lasted for a little more than a year and the second one just for three months.

Taking in mind the amount of housework that I do I really needed a drill by my side. So I finally decided to take the big step and buy a branded drill machine. The usual name that comes to mind is Bosch, Wolf, Hitachi and Black and Decker.

I had to find out the price of them and to do so I went to Chandni Market in Kolkata to compare the price any of course to buy one in budget.

Hitach Rs. 2000, Bosch Rs. 2100, Black and Decker Rs. 1200. the choice was abvious it had to be cheap Chinese one as I could not afford these..

I went on enquiring to all different shops and one shops requires a special mention. It so happened that I went to this shop and went on and on enquiring different Chinese made as well as branded, this is what I do just to see whether all their products match up to the market price. After sometime the shop owner angrily commented, “if you really want a Black and Decker why do you enquire about cheap Chinese ones… Do you at all want to buy or just wasting my time” My blood shot up and I just walked to the next shop in view of the Shop Owner and purchased a Black and Decker Drill and gave a sly smile to the previous shop owner.

The lesson that you learn… Never underestimate a buyer by what he asks. Offer him the best and he will buy the best.

Flights of Fantasy

It so happened that a pigeon flew into my room this morning. It was scared as it was chased by a crow. By looking at the pigeon which was obviously very scared made me feel very sad.

I gave some rice to feed on but i guess it made the bird more scared.

I went to get my deo which was kept near the window, as i approached near the window it flew off and sat near a tree outside my house.

It kept looking straight at my eyes...

One Year After

It was one year ago that i was in some kind of dream land. I was in Kenya this very day last year. A year on i am still at the same ol job of mine. It feels more like a dream than a reality. Anyways i am too too nostalgic about that. Just wish that i had wings and i would fly of to another new land this year.

Its very difficult to stay back in a cubicle, my wings needs to do some exercise so i am waiting...

I need a new land to conquer. Some one help me please i wana run run run.......
